Jesus
This town, very near the city of Ibiza, has one of the oldest churches on the island. It is believed that in 1498 she settled in the Franciscan friars, but in 1580 was given to the Dominicans, who left seven years later to take refuge in the walled city of Dalt Vila, to the unbearable pressure of the pirates. The church has a very valuable piece, a sixteenth-century Gothic altarpiece attributed to Rodrigo de Osuna. Some experts believe the face of the Virgin as one of the most beautiful medieval iconography in Spain.

Jesus also has a range of restaurants and small shops and nearby is the beach of Talamanca s'Estanyol and, the latter already in the town of Ibiza
