Sant Mateu d'Albarca

San Mateo is a nice small town that cultivates a love for the ancient tradition of wine. In the month of December is the Wine Festival, which brings together hundreds of people to taste the wines of the island. The town center consists of the church, a bar, the cemetery and very few homes, making it a delight. Visit the church of Sant Mateu, built in the late eighteenth century.

Within the rural Ibiza and in the same area Buscastell highlights an area where further soak up the flavor of Pitiusan field, as it houses the largest vine growing on the island and which also develops a remarkable red wine and a delicious and fruity white.
